Italy

As per the new normal regulations Brits who wish to enter Italy will now have to take test and required to have a negative coronavirus report in order to enter the country. The new regulations also clear the rule that they will be allowed entry to the country if they test negative or follow a 48 hours quarantine on arrival.

This new law almost ruins the plans of all those families who wish to travel Italy. But Italy is now open to Brits under the new regulation of quarantine or covid negative test. The new rules are yet to be implemented and it is yet to be decided that swab testing will be compulsory on arrivals from UK or not.

Those from Britain without any test report will now have to take the test at the airport. The airport testing will be completed in just 30 minutes, but the reports could lead to a decision or quarantine or 48 hour quarantine even for those without any symptoms.

Most stations and key airport sections have already installed rapid-testing system.  According to the health ministry of Rome Britain is not effective in controlling Covid-19 spread and hence they are trying to implement new rules of testing for Brit travellers to restrict Covid spread and keep the country safe. Hence, those arriving from UK will be either requested to present a certificate of Covid negative tested in past 72 hours, to show they are negative. If they fail to present such a certificate of fitness they will be tested at the airport and then shifted to isolation for 48 hours if positive.
