The Apache unit is about to happen on a land of 290 acres spending a sumof Rs. 800 crore, which is projected to generate around 10,000 local jobs.

GudivadaAmarnath, theIndustries Minister of Andhra Pradesh said that Tirupati would be advancedwith regard to tourism along with industry.

The minister was escorted by M. Gurumoorthy, the Member of Parliament, MLA B. Madhusudhan Reddy and K. Venkataramana Reddy, theCollector.Minister Amarnathreviewedall preparations in the industrial areas in Srikalahasti constituency in advance of the programmedJune 23rdvisit of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The ministerwent to seeInagaluru village where CMJagan Mohan Reddy would carry out ‘bhoomi puja’ for the planned Apache footwear divisionalong with the TCL industrial unit. The Apache unit would be set up on an expanse of 290 acres. It would cost around Rs. 800 crore, and this is anticipated to producearound 10,000 local jobs.

The Minister opinedthat the two Electronic Manufacturing Clusters positioned on 700 acres of land in Tirupati district, would get top precedence, together with IIT and IISER, situated in the surrounding area.

He said that Tirupatilocated between Chennai and Bengaluru, will be advancedin every aspect, due to its educational and industrial prominence. Besides that, Tirupati is a renowned religious tourism destination, with visitors from India and abroad.
