EASYJET is opening its first lounge at Gatwick North Terminal.
The budget airline’s new exclusive relaxation rooms – called The Gateway – will launch on October 21, with entry prices from £18.50.
Customers can choose between one, two and three-hour packages and book access on the day of travel at parking.easyjet.com/easyjet-lounges.
The new project is a collaboration between easyJet and No1 Lounges, who already run lounges at several UK airports.
The Gateway will offer passengers “comfortable spaces space to eat, drink, work and play before their flight.”
A range of complimentary hot and cold food will be on offer, alongside hot and cold drinks.
The menu will include destination-inspired signature dishes that change every few months, alongside the lounge’s own signature cocktail list.
Customers will get free Wifi and work areas with charging points, as well as a dining area and soft seating.
Families will be able to make use of a TV den and a games room.
All passengers travelling through London Gatwick Airport North Terminal can book to use the lounge regardless of what airline or travel ticket class they are flying with.
They can also arrive without a booking and present their easyJet boarding pass on entry to the lounge.
In other easyJet news, the airline has been forced to cancel flights as Morocco bans Brits due to soaring Covid cases.
