Top travel trade fairs in January 2022

Travel trade fairs are the most important part of networking in the travel and tourism sector. These travel-trade events or shows not only create networking but also aspire to build better communication with clients and industry leaders.

Here are some of the important fairs which are scheduled till now for January. But due to the escalation of COVID-19 variant Omicron, some dates may change.

ASEAN Tourism Forum 2022

Date: 16-22 January 2022

Place: Sihanoukville, Cambodia

The ASEAN Tourism Forum 2022 (ATF) is a cooperative regional effort to promote the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as one tourist destination. This annual event involves all the tourism industry sectors of the 10 member states of ASEAN: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.

FITUR 2022

Date: 19-23 January 2022

Place: Spain

Fitur 2022 is the global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound markets in Latin America. Fitur 2022 encourage all travel-oriented high-level professionals from the international tourism industry (Spanish companies will not be admitted): tour operators, travel agencies, OTAs, with decision-making and direct contracting power to present their candidacy and we encourage FITUR exhibitors to propose those international buyers they consider suitable for the programme.
