Leela Palaces to expand in South India

Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts have announced that the Leela Kovalam, and the Leela Ashtamudi are the two new properties that the group has opened to expand their footprint in South India.

Mr. Anuraag Bhatnagar, Chief Operating Officer, of the Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts is very exited to reintroduce the Leela Brand back in Kerala. These 2 resorts will complement each other. The partnership of the two great brands in the luxury travel and wellness sectors can be a force for good in the entire South India.

The 2 hotels The Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel, and The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel will change the luxury tourism landscape in India.

The Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel

Spread across a 60 acre area filled with lush greenery, it is the only clifftop beach resort in India. This offers a stunning view of the Kovalam Beach and the stunning beachfront. It is a 20 minute drive from Thiruvananthapuram Airport and is a minute away from the hotel’s own helipad.

The hotel blends modern technology and traditional grandeur. The decor of each of the 184 rooms and suites, presents pleasing aesthetics . Each of these rooms opens to the breath-taking view of either the sea or the lush green gardens.
